be VISUAL on how a house is built, use pictures and write about it visually but in ESSAY FORM – you need to be VISUAL and DESCRIPTIVE, you could talk about different styles of houses such as; Cape Cod, farmhouse, victorian, Oriental, Cottages, Tudor, Townhouse, Ranch, Pueblo Revival, Prairie, Neoclassical, Mediterranean, Italianate, Greek Revival, French Provincial, Mid-Century Modern, Federal Colonial, Dutch Colonial, Craftsman,
don’t use all of these styles – write about 6-8 styles, use pictures and briefly write about it VISUALLY, not informative.
The beginning of the essay will start like this –
“What is a house? An early edition of Websters Dictionary (1828) defines a house as “In a general sense, a building or shed intended or used as a habitation or shelter for animals of any kind; but appropriately, a building or edifice for the habitation of man; a dwelling place, mansion or abode for any of the human species. It may be of any size and composed of any materials whatever, wood, stone, brick, etc.” Today’s Oxford English Dictionary defines a house as “A building for human habitation, especially one that consists of a ground floor and one or more upper stories.”
